リトアニアの手袋

もう何年も前になるが、
元仕事の関係でリトアニアに行く機会があって、
空き時間に買い物に行った事があった。

そこで見た手編みの手袋。
現地の知人に聞くと、
伝統的なものらしい。

It's already back years ago,
but I had chance to go to Lithuania
quite few times for my former job.

I saw a hand-knitted mittens when I was shopping.
The friend there told me that
it's a traditional model.



素朴で面白い。
ミトンは、着用していると、
手先を使うのが大変なので、
個人的には実用的じゃないのだが、
これを見ると、編みたくなる。

Unsophisticated, but very interesting.
It is difficult to use the fingers
when wearing the mittens,
so they aren't so practical for me...

But I would like to knit them when I see those mittens.
